Andrés and Mario were in charge of describing our high school.

We filled our pre-surveys.

The students introduced their towns and villages.

We celebrated SAFER INTERNET DAY.

It was agreed that each group would invent a slogan for the day and would record a video saying it.

Our slogan was 'EVERY DAY IS A GOOD DAY TO BE SAFE'

Then it was time to create our logo. We decided that each team would present a poster for a competition and then all the teams' posters would be joined to get our logo.

In our team, we made posters individually or in pairs.

OUR GROUP'S POSTERS

Then we voted and chose the one that would represent us in the competition and in the collaborative logo. NORA V.'s was our favourite one.

These are all the posters made by all the partners.

DIGITAL CITY OF THE FUTURE

In this first activity, each school would design a part of the city, representing one of the 10 domains of digital citizenship education. Students would work create a visually rich representation of the core concepts in each domain. And also they would write a slogan for the domain.

In this way, each school would focus on a particular area of digital citizenship and design a corresponding city section. This approach will help students understand how different aspects of digital citizenship play a role in building a responsible and respectful digital society.

The 10 domains were:

  1. ACCESS AND INCLUSION
  2. LEARNING A CREATIVITY
  3. MEDIA AND INFORMATION LITERACY
  4. ETHICAL VALUES AND EMPATHY
  5. HEALTH AND WELL-BEING
  6. PRESENCE AND COMMUNICATION
  7. ACTIVE PARTICIPATION
  8. RIGHTS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  9. PRIVACY AND SECURITY
  10. CONSUMER AWARENESS
Our team focused on domains 1 and 9.

We were divided into four teams to find a slogan for each domain. Two teams suggested two for number 1 and the others voted for the one they liked the best and then we exchanged our roles.

The slogans suggested for domain 1 were:

- Make the world an open door
- Opening a door of opportunities

We chose: OPENING A DOOR OF OPPORTUNITIES

The slogans we suggested for domain 9 were:

- Secure your privacy
- Protecting your Internet is protecting your life

We chose: PROTECTING YOUR INTERNET IS PROTECTING YOUR LIFE

DIGITAL CITY OF THE FUTURE

Then it was time to fill in the pre-surveys.

In March the teachers had their first meeting to arrange the next steps of the project.

We saw a presentation about digital citizenship in class.

STEM DIGI CITIZENS' PRESENTATION

Then, using Mentimeter, we made word clouds to answer the questions

'WHAT'S DIGITAL CITIZENSHIP EDUCATION?

This is our word cloud

These are all teams' ones.

After that, we wrote our opinions about digital citizenship and issues related to it.

We created songs about digital citizenship using AI.

These are our team's songs.

Here you are all the teams' songs.

We also created digital superheroes using AI.

Our team's superheroes.

Let's create our own digital superheroes to learn while having fun!

Follow the instructions that appear in the Learning Situation (Session 3) whose link I've shared with you on Teams.

Apart from that, take these aspects into account:

-  Use our common email to use Copilot. Don't use your own.

-  Remember, don't create an account on Vidnoz with your own details, use our common email to log in as I've already created an account with it.

Try to make your video as accessible as possible. Use subtitles whenever possible.

- Ask me if you have problems working on the website.
Then, you can also read about its use:

- When your work is ready, insert the video on the Padlet as I've explained in this lesson.

We made infographics about the different domains of the guide.

Let's make infographics about the different domains of the 'DIGITAL CITIZENSHIP EDUCATION GUIDE' so that everybody (students, teachers and families) can learn more about this topic.

Follow the instructions that appear in the Learning Situation (Session 1) whose link I've shared with you on Teams.

Apart from that, take these aspects into account:

- If you don't have an account on Canva, don't create it. Use our common email to log in, I've already created an account with it.

- Use the images given by the website or upload Creative Commons ones.

- When dealing with interactive elements, you can use links to the document or to useful and trustful websites that you can find. Once you have chosen them, show them to me.

- Be careful with the font (type, size, ..) and colours you choose so that your work can be easily read and seen.

- Ask me if you have problems working on the website.
Then, you can also see the following video tutorial at home:

- When your work is ready, insert the link on the Padlet as I've explained in this lesson.

On 10th April we had our first meeting with other students to introduce ourselves and give our opinions about the project.

We celebrated eTwinning and Europe Day by reflecting on being a European citizen, citizenship education and how eTwinning helps to bring us together. These topics are related to eTwinning annual theme: 'CITIZENSHIP EDUCATION, CELEBRATING WHAT UNITES US'.

We decided to create our sustainable schools, but before doing this, we had to reflect on the meaning of sustainable schools.

We took a survey:

These were our suggestions:

We watched a video about climate change.

We saw a presentation about sustainables schools.

We also watched some videos about solar energy.

Finally, we designed our sustainable schools in teams, we came up with slogans and we made prototypes.

Hecho con Padlet

All the teams did the same.

The idea was to present our schools and prototypes on an online meeting.

We voted and we chose the school created by Andrés, Mario, Omar and Tizziana to represent us.

Green spaces are related to sustainability, so we observed how our plants changed, we took photos and wrote about it.

Hecho con Padlet

So did all the teams.

We wrote on the Forum about our daily routine, our favourite books and music and what we usually do to act in a more sustainable way.

In mixed international groups, we wrote stories with the same beginning for OUR COMMON eBOOK.

There was an online meeting to speak about our sustainable schools.

We wrote an acrostic poem using the letters of the name of our project.

Later on, it became a song.

Finally, we created a common quiz about digital citizenship and sustainability.

During the school year, we also assessed our digital competences.
